Melbourne Metropolitan Delivery

We deliver across a very large area of Melbourne, covering most metropolitan suburbs.

  • Delivery starts from $95 (covers the majority of Melbourne)
  • Your exact delivery rate is calculated automatically at checkout based on your suburb

How to Check Your Delivery Cost:

Simply add products to your cart, proceed to checkout, enter your delivery address, and your suburb-based delivery cost will be displayed instantly.

Regional Victoria & Interstate

Delivering outside our Melbourne service area? If your address isn't showing a delivery option at checkout, this means our freight partners don't currently deliver to your area.

You still have great options to get your mattress:

Option 1: Contact Us for a Quote

Email us at hello@bestbeds.com.au with your postcode/address and we'll check freight costs for your region.

Option 2: Book Your Own Transport

For example, use AirTasker or a similar service, or book directly with a freight company and arrange pickup from our Epping warehouse.

Many customers from regional Victoria and interstate use services like AirTasker to arrange pickup from our Epping showroom and delivery to their address. This gives you flexibility and often works out very competitively.

To use this option:

  1. Order online and arrange pickup from our showroom (see Showroom Pickup section below)
  2. Create an AirTasker or similar service task for transport to your address
  3. Collect your mattress and have it delivered to your address

We recommend adding freight insurance (see below) if you use this method.

Delivery format varies by model:

📦 Compressed Box

Delivered vacuum-sealed and compressed — simply unbox, remove the wrapping, and your mattress expands to full size within 24–48 hours.

  • ✅ Easy to carry upstairs if needed
  • ✅ Less packaging waste

🛏️ Fully Uncompressed

Some models are delivered fully uncompressed and ready to use straight away.

Upstairs Delivery (Additional Service)

Standard delivery includes ground floor only. If you need upstairs delivery (up stairs, into bedroom, etc.):

  • You've arranged your own pickup/transport

Melbourne Showroom Pickup

Prefer to collect your mattress in person? We offer free showroom pickup!

Benefits of Pickup:

  • ✅ Save on delivery costs
  • ✅ Take your mattress home immediately (subject to stock and vehicle capacity)
  • ✅ Visit our showroom and test our full range
  • ✅ Personal service from our team

How Showroom Pickup Works:

  1. Order online or contact us to arrange
  2. We'll confirm stock availability and ready date
  3. Schedule pickup appointment (Mon-Fri 11am-3pm or Sat by appointment)
  4. Bring valid photo ID (driver's licence, passport, or government ID)
  5. Collect your mattress and take home

Important: To protect both you and our team, we require valid photo ID when collecting orders. This confirms the order is being collected by the person who placed it.
