Welcome to Best Beds. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Best Beds website (bestbeds.com.au), our online store, and all products and services we provide. By accessing our website, browsing our products, or making a purchase, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using our website and services.

- Colors, textures, and finishes may vary from images due to manufacturing processes, screen display differences, or AI-generated rendering
- Product dimensions and weights are approximate and may vary slightly
We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in product information and to change or update information at any time without prior notice, even after an order has been submitted.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Pricing
- All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change at any time without notice
- Delivery charges, if applicable, are additional and calculated at checkout based on location and order size
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, even after an order has been placed
- If a pricing error is discovered after you have placed an order, we will notify you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund
5.2 Payment
- Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing
- We accept payment methods as displayed at checkout (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.)
- You warrant that you have the legal right to use any payment method provided
- Payment processing is handled securely through third-party payment providers and our e-commerce platform, Shopify Inc.
- We reserve the right to refuse payment methods or require alternative payment for any reason
6. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

When you place an order through our website:
- Your order constitutes an offer to purchase products from us
- We will send you an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order
- Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order

6.2 Our Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Product unavailability or stock shortages
- Pricing or product description errors
- Suspected fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal transactions
- Credit or payment issues
- Inability to verify customer information
- Limitations on quantities available for purchase
- Orders that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors
- Previous payment disputes or chargebacks
If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method. We are not liable for any consequential losses arising from order cancellation.
6.3 Customer Cancellation

- Cancellation is only possible before the order has been dispatched
- Once dispatched, our Returns Policy applies (no returns except for faulty products)
- Cancellation fees may apply if products have been custom-made or specially ordered
7. Delivery and Shipping
7.1 Delivery Terms
- Delivery is available to addresses within Australia as specified at checkout
- Delivery costs are calculated based on location, order size, and weight
- Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed
- We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, weather events, natural disasters, industrial action, or freight availability
7.2 Delivery Responsibilities
- You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address
- You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery
- If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address, unavailability, or access issues, redelivery fees will apply
- Delivery is to ground floor or kerbside unless otherwise arranged and paid for
- You are responsible for inspecting products upon delivery and noting any visible damage on the delivery receipt
7.3 Risk and Title
- Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier or upon collection from our showroom
- Title and ownership of products passes to you when we receive payment in full AND the products have been delivered or collected
- Until title passes, you must store products separately and not mix them with other goods
8. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Our Returns and Refunds Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Key points:
- No returns for change of mind: Due to hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on mattresses and bedding products except where products are supplied faulty
- Faulty products: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Late claims will not be accepted
- Limited returns: In exceptional circumstances where a return is mutually agreed, a 35% restocking fee applies, original shipping is non-refundable, and return shipping costs are your responsibility
- Product condition: Products must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition for any approved return

9. Warranty
Products come with manufacturer warranties covering manufacturing defects. Warranty terms vary by product (typically 1-10 years depending on product). Our Warranty Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Key points:
- Warranties cover manufacturing defects only, not normal wear, comfort preferences, or damage from misuse
- Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims
- Products must be used on suitable bases with adequate support to maintain warranty validity
- Inspection fees may apply for warranty assessments

10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
